I have had absolutely nothing but excellent things to say about Woodforest Bank since I began banking with them about 6 months ago, but as of today I had an extremely frustrating situation, one of the representatives told me that there was not enough money to cover a check I tried to get cashed, so it would have to have a 7-Day hold put on it this was unacceptable because I had taken a week off of work and was going out of town on vacation, when I verified with the bank/account that the check was drawn off they absolutely reassured me that there was three and a half times the amount of sufficient funds available than i had written the check for, this representatives story did not make any sense I've never heard of a 7-Day hold being put on a check because there was not available funds if there's truly not available funds the check will bounce, at any rate I feel like this person was lying to me and being extremely lazy because they simply did not want to do their job, this is a classic example of how one employee doing a bad job or being pathetically lazy can make their entire company look like a joke!!! But due to the fact that I have been around the block a time or two I will give Woodforest another chance because I know that there are a lot of good people that work there and I will not judge them based off of one person doing a horrible job!!!
